Is Online Learning Right for You?
Online learning requires commitment, strong time management skills, discipline, initiative, and the willingness to take responsibility for your work. You can guarantee success by being actively involved in your learning, focusing on your goals, prioritizing responsibilities, and getting help when you need it.
Students of online courses are a part of the Graduate School and the entire Virginia Tech community. To learn more about the Virginia Tech community, familiarize yourself with the Virginia Tech website, the Graduate School, the Graduate Honor System, Acceptable Use Guidelines, the Registrar, and the University Bursar. Expectations of online graduate students are no different from those in face-to-face courses.
