Description
The Project and Report requires you to understand, analyze, and interpret scientific knowledge in your area of concentration and to synthesize ideas and procedures. This should be substantial work, requiring a critical, in-depth analysis of a topic and a thorough review of existing literature. The topic should apply to your professional experience and build upon courses in the concentration. The project will be tailored to your interests and background by you and your advisory committee.
You will submit a professional-style report to your advisory committee that will be reviewed for the synthesis and integration of knowledge. This is a scholarly report that is ready for public dissemination. You are expected to spend at least twice as much time on the Project and Report as you would on any three-credit course in the degree program.
Note: ZZZZ will be replaced with a department abbreviation based on your concentration (i.e. FST 5904).
